SEVEN THUNDERS

      

Rev 10:1-3 
And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow [was] upon his head, and his face [was] as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:  And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and [his] left [foot] on the earth,  And cried with a loud voice, as [when] a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

The events of the seven thunders, and that of the Two Witnesses, are both included within the text concerning  the 6th trump.  The 7th trump sounds at the end of chapter 11.

John hears the 7 thunders speak at the end of the 6th trump....just before the two witnesses are told to "come up here!"  Which is the resurrection of the dead in Christ!

The mighty angel declares;

Rev 10:6-7 
And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:  
But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

This Seventh angel, that is about to sound, IS the 7th Trump. When he blows his trump the resurrection/rapture will take place. This rapture is the mystery that God declared to His prophets.

1. no further delay
2. with the voice (1a) of inanimate things, as musical instruments) of the seventh angel, the voice of the 7th trump.
3. when it is beginning to sound
4. the mystery of God is finished (=rapture)

 
Then the Wrath of God

But only the mystery of the rapture is finished. There are still the seven angels with seven plagues that are given seven bowls of wrath of God that must be poured out.

Rev 15:1 seven angels who had seven plagues, which are the  last, because in them the wrath of God is finished.


5. The wrath must also be finished.

 So what happens when the seven last angels with the seven last plagues are first seen in Rev 15:1-2?
The raptured are seen in heaven BEFORE the bowls of wrath are even given to the angels.  In vs 7 another angel gives the bowls of wrath to these seven angels.
For we are not appointed to wrath and have been rapture beforehand.

6. The 7 bowls of wrath are poured while the 7th trump is still sounding.
Because as it says in the 7th trump; thy wrath CAME, paste tence.
 

The long blast of the seventh trump

Just as with Joshua on the seventh day, the seventh blast of the trump was called the long blast, it lasted until the walls of the city fell. I believe htis is our example and that the seventh trump will also be a long blast that lasts until the bowls of wrath have all been poured out and the great city falls.

This means that the 6th seal, Matt 24:29-31, the end of the 6th trump, and the seven thunders are all pretty much in the same place within the timeline.
 

Who is the "mighty angel"?
He comes in the clouds. Stands with one foot on the land and one in the sea.  He cries out with a loud voice. A voice is the sound of a trumpet.
I believe this is the voice of the archangel saying "come up here" to the two witnesses.
We already know that the voice of an angel is like the sound of a trumpet.

The order is;
After He cries out with a loud voice
then resurrection/rapture happens
then the 7 thunders speak.

So who are the seven thunders?
It is possible that they are the last seven angels that will be given the bowls of wrath.
