Chart of the
Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls of Wrath

The seals are like heavenly decrees and are all opened in order,
and when this is complete the results are seen on earth.

Once ALL seven seals were opened, which they have all been opened by the time this war begins,  we then see the results signified by that rider on earth in the form of a war.

FIRST SEAL
.

This first rider begins the events of the seals, trumps and bowls of wrath that will follow.  It is like the domino effect. Each event causing the next.  He is a leader, who is given a kingdom, as we see by the crown being given to him He carries a bow, Toxin, meaning poison arrow in Greek. The bow is just the means of delivering the deadly arrow or dart or missile,  that has been dipped in poison.  So this persons weaponry is toxic, as in WMD.    When he goes out to conquer he causes the chain of events to begin that will eventually bring about the end of this age.
 

 I believe Saddam did this when he tried to conquer Kuwait. That action brought on the first gulf war causing the first four trumpets to blow.  Saddam was a king of the North, and if you have been reading this website starting at Daniel you will understand what that means.  The 7th head of the first beast of Revelation 13 was/is Islam.  (See King of the North Vision of Daniel).   Saddam's part in this remains, whether he is dead or alive. The deed is done. It has began.

The rest of the horrid events of the end days is under the control of this IMAGE of the first beast beginning with the 4th seal/5th trump.  I believe the Image is a revived Islamic Empire in the Middle East emerging out of Iraq (perhaps under a Caliphate) although I believe that the Person will have been born in upper Syria.

(Note: If you have been reading this website in order then by now you know that I am not looking for the type of antichrist that a large part of the church is waiting for. One that will fulfill the 70th week of Daniel by making a 7 year peace agreement, and has the false prophet as his side-kick, etc..
I have never once in all these years ever said that Saddam would make a peace agreement with Israel, nor let the Jews build a third Temple.    The Image of the first beast is the revived Islamic empire that will cause the people to receive the mark of the beast, and it will kill those who do not bow down to its laws. Even though Islam is an Antichrist religion and those that worship Allah are antichrist as far as Jesus being the Son of God,   I don't call this the "AC" anymore because it causes people to think I am speaking of a man that will make a 7 year peace agreement with Israel. )
 
 

This rider  is very strong in making war, as seen by the mighty sword that is given to him.  Such as smart bombs as compared to scuds. To me this is the second beast/empire called the False Prophet: This is where the USA/United Nations which represents the whole world enter the picture. America, with the stamp of approval of  the United Nations, went to war to stop Saddam and that action has taken peace from the earth.

It is hard for people to believe this because this war took place so long ago. Way past any "7 year count down".

This section, about the first 4 trumps, was first written a few weeks after the end of the Gulf War. The entire time I watched this war on TV it was like the Holy Spirit was saying, "Look, open your eyes. The trumps are beginning to blow."

I believe the first 4 trumpets represent the events that took place during the Gulf War. 1/3 of the land is involved because Baghdad is one third of the nation of Iraq.  Please remember that John saw symbolic scenes to describe this and not the actual event.

1st Trump

Revelation 8:7  The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all the green grass was burnt up.

This represents bombs that are dropped during a war. They look like hail as they fall, but they explode into fire and cause blood to run from the victims that are struck. 1/3 of the land burnt, yet ALL ( meaning "some of every sort"; check here for definition) of the green grasses were burnt.

This was the Gulf War caused by the first and second seals being opened.

Only the middle section of the land of Iraq, (mainly Baghdad), was bombed. Hence this is 1/3 of the earth, or land of a people. The word "earth" in Greek can refer to a country, or an area of land of a certain peoples, or the earth itself.

2nd Trump

Rev 8:8-9 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

Something like a great mountain on fire is cast into the sea.
The word "ballo" in Greek that was translated as "cast" means: to dump without care.
But as you can see, there is more than one way to translate the word "ballo".

1c2) to pour out
2) to put into, insert

An example of the word translated in Matthew:
Mat 9:17: Neither do men put [906 balo to pour] new wine into old bottles.

A great mountain on fire in John's time is a description of a volcano erupting, not just a mountain.
This thing that John saw was LIKE a volcano, but was NOT a volcano. It was something like it. It emitted fire and smoke, and something that looked like blood spewed out of it.

An oil well that is on fire with smoke billowing out, and the reddish black crude oil being cast out of it couldn't be described any differently than "something like a volcano" to a man of the first century. And that ooze poured itself into the sea as John watched.

The result was that 1/3 of the sea turns like blood: black like the blood of a dead man, as it is described later. 1/3 of the creatures in the sea die. Although this was seen by John in symbolism, we saw the event and the results on TV during the Gulf War when Saddam had his troops release oil and detonated 750 oil wells to create the largest oil slick known to man. 1/3 of the Gulf sea was blanketed with oil and 1/3 of the sea creatures washed up dead on its banks. Many of the boats and ships in ports along the banks were ruined with the oil. During the Persian Gulf War, Iraq deliberately released an estimated 460 million gallons of crude oil into the Persian Gulf.

Notice that the oil slick covered 1/3 of the Gulf Sea. The black area is the water and all of the area covered with red to blue lines is where the oil slick was located.

Take Note: The areas that are talked about in end days scripture, that are actually named, are in the Middle east. Egypt, Jordan, Persia, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, the Euphrates river, Armageddon in Israel, the locust army in Israel, Gog in Israel, etc., etc. as it all centers around the Middle East.  It is logical that the sea being talked about is also within that area of the Middle East, such as: the Sea of Galilee, the Red Sea, the Dead Sea, and the Persian Sea. In this case it was the Persian Sea (Gulf) and 1/3 of the sea turned reddish black with the oil during the war.

Most people think the mountain on fire is something falling from outer space. A comet or an asteroid would have probably looked something like a falling star or a ball of fire to John and not a mountain, or a hill, as the word in Greek is sometimes translated.

3rd Trump

Revelation 8:10-11 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

A great star falls on the river, called wormwood. Wormwood represented bitterness and a curse against a people by God as seen throughout the scriptures.

Deu 29:18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go [and] serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse,

Pro 5:4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two edged sword.

Jer 9:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, [even] this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

People who drink the water die, as the Iraqis did. The water had become poisonous to them. A great star is a good description for a missile.
During allied bombing campaigns on Iraq, the country's eight multi-purpose dams had been repeatedly hit, simultaneously wrecking flood control, municipal and industrial water storage, irrigation and hydroelectric power. Four of the seven major pumping stations were destroyed, as were 31 municipal water and sewerage facilities - 20 in Baghdad. Our bombs contain uranium which cause radiation poisoning.

Allies deliberately poisoned Iraq public water supply in Gulf War. (Sunday Herald, 09/17/2000)
'U.S. policy makers were quite conscious of the devastating effects that "degrading" the Iraqi water purification system would have on the civilian population and on certain industries. They were aware that the "slow decline" of water purification and sewage treatment systems would mean that "incidences of disease, including possible epidemics, will become probable." They accurately predicted increases in cholera, hepatitis and typhoid. ''

The US-led allied forces deliberately destroyed Iraq's water supply during the Gulf War - flagrantly breaking the Geneva Convention and causing thousands of civilian deaths.

4th Trump

Revelation 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

A third of the sun and moon and stars were struck, a third of the day and of the night are dark.
At the end of the war, Saddam blew up the Kuwaiti oil fields. The smoke caused darkness in the day and night. Remember that this is in a small area, or 1/3 of the country.

Of course we all saw this on CNN.
The black smoke from the burning oil wells caused thick smoke that covered hundreds of miles. It was as if it were night in the middle of the day. They burned for months.

Now all this happened in just two months. The chances of the events of these four trumps ever happening anywhere else on the earth are about ten million to one. :) We need to stop just shrugging our shoulders and saying it couldn't have been the 4 trumps! It was.

Note: When we look at the bowls of wrath they are very similar to this, except it involves all of the land. The Bowls of Wrath are being poured out "on the kingdom of the beast". Iraq/Syria is that kingdom and that is why the bowls are so similar to the trumps. The lands of the Middle East will be affected in a bigger way, through a nuclear weapon next time. That is why the bowls begin with the malignant sores on the men of the land. These are radiation burns.

A black horse and he that sat on it held a pair of scales  in his hand.  Actually it says he held a YOKE (ZUGOS) in his hand.  A yoke was used to bind two animals together to share a burden.

According to the Old Testament a drought on the land harmed the vineyards and the olive trees so the phrase "do not hurt the oil or the wine"  seems to indicate that this lack of food or high prices are not caused by a drought. Perhaps caused by an economic collapse.
 
 

To me this verse is saying that death and hedesare given authority over one fourth of the nations of the world so that through the power over those nations they ride out to kill others of this world.  I think these 1/4 of the nations of the world are Islamic nations. I believe this probably represents the actions of the Image of the first beast.

The verse says to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the  beasts of the earth.

They kill with
1. The sword=this is not a normal short sword. John identified it as "rhomphaia"  a Thracian sword, a very broad long sword, of the day, that had to be slung from the shoulder because it was too long to be worn from the waist.  Possible likeness to beheading swords of today.
2. with a lack of food, famine.  When people are driven from their homes and villages many die of starvation.
3. with pestilence. Deseases spread quickly in these situations.
4. beast=  I believe this is referring to the first beast of Revelation 13.

This also may connect to the fallen angel Abaddon who comes out of the bottomless pit and hades with him in the form of demon locusts (5th trump).

In the Hebrew writings  Abaddon is identified as the Angel of Death and destruction, demon of the abyss, and chief of demons of the underworld hierarchy.
Hades -the abode of the dead and the destruction of the soul. Later called hell by Christians.
This angel from the bottomless pit appears to be the same angel that has authority over the scarlet beast in the end days.

Also the scarlet beast of chap 17 seems to be another symbolic view of the Image of the first beast and it is lead by the one that comes out of the "bottomless pit" and goes to destruction.

Rev 9:1-2
And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.  And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. ....
Rev 9:11 And they had a king over them, [which is] the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue [is] Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath [his] name Apollyon.

Do the locusts represent demon possesion?

The Lord said to me in 1999, "The image of the beast began with Bosnia." Meaning it is the first actions that causes the building of the image to begin.

I had not paid that much attention to the Bosnian war. I didn't connect it to the events of the end days because I didn't know  who was fighting who at the time.  But as I began to look into it, a few years after  when the Lord spoke these words to me,  I began to understand that it was Muslim's of that area rising up in an effort to create Islamic states within  Bosnia and followed with the same activities in Kosovo. (See Image of the Beast and the former Presdent Bill Clinton's role in it.)

I believe the Lord said "The image  began with Bosnia."  to point out to me that what began with Bosnia was the waking up of the old Islamic empire under a new guise, the Image of it's old self.  Through terrorism this image (made up of the Islamic countries)  of the beast rose up again and is primed for when the fifth trump takes place and Abaddon is loosed.   He will make this beast an empire once again under an 8th head on that beast.
 

5th Trump
The First Woe
 

The dead are given their white robes and are told to wait until their number had been added to and made complete. So during this time, this seems to be the time that the two witnesses will begin their testimony, which ends in the 6th seal,  and also the last of the martyred Christians shall die for their belief in the Son of God before the resurrection/rapture of the 6th seal/7th trump.
I believe we have seen the number of martyrs, by the thousands and thousands, added to this number in the last few years at the hand of Muslim's extremists. It is happening in every country along the old border of the Islamic Empire, parts of Africa, and throughout the Balkans, and even on the Islands of Asia but it is going to get a lot worse once the 5th trump is blown.

6th Trump
The Second Woe
 

Rev 9:13-15  And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,   Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.  And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

The four angels bound in the Euphrates River are loosed so that two hundred million  horsemen from the east might kill 1/3 of man kind. The rest of mankind DID NOT repent of the works OF THEIR hands.
The riders wore breastplates the color of fire, (shining like fire), hyacinth  (blackish red). and brimstone (sulphurous/yellow)
The horses had the heads like a lion and out of their mouths comes fire, and tales having heads on it, which also kill.  Again, this sounds like a description of demonic beings but some see these as modern vehicles and weapons of war. Like rocket firing tanks of some sort.
 
 

 A great earthquake, sun black, red moon, stars fall. (At night bombs falling look like falling stars) Sky rolls up like a scroll opening, mountains move. John may have seen a nuclear explosion.

People hide in caves (dens) in the rocks and want the rocks to fall and seal them in for the time of great day of their wrath has arrived. This is the First Bowl of God's wrath. People don't seem to realize that God always uses man and his weapons to exicute his wrath.  The first bowl of wrath is malignant sores on the bodies of men.
This is radiation burns and the people go underground in caves and hope survive.

The saints are seen before the throne. "The ones that have come out of the Great Tribulation". In Mathew, the Olivet Discourse it shows the sorrows and they are the last things that will happen before the ruturn of Christ. It say "After the tribulation of those days". This particual tribulation is the time that the mark of the beast is being demanded.   These have been ressurection/raptured at this point.  Followed by the winds of heaven being held back while the 144,000 Jews are sealed.

• The 6th seal is nuclear, creating the signs in the heavens (also see Matt 24:29).
• This is the first Bowl of Wrath, (malignant soars) and men trying to hide themselves in caves.
• But God puts a hold on everything while the angels put the seal of God on the 144,000.

• Also in the 6th seal is the story of the 2 witnesses comes to an end. They are killed and after three and a half days they are told to "come up here". It  takes place as the 7th trump is beginning to blow. They are part of the ressurection/rapture.

The witnesses go to heaven in a cloud and so do all the dead and living that are His. And in that HOUR there is a great earthquake and a tenth of the city falls and 7,000 die in the earthquake and the rest gave glory to God. The rapture has already happened so these that gave Him glory after the fact can be read about in Zech 12-14. They are not part of the Bride which has been raptured and the door shut, but will go into the 1000 years as saved and belonging to the Lord. But they will enter the 1000 years as saved, mortal, people with extended life spans. See Isaiah 65:17-66.

The Bowls of God's Wrath

The bowls of wrath begin the destruction of the kingdom of the Image of the first beast/image/scarlet beast.
 The bowls of wrath begin to be poured with the 6th seal as a result of the nuclear weapon.

The first 5 bowls of wrath are similar to the first 4 trumpets, only this time the war is not 1/3 of the land and sea, but involves all of the lands of the Middle East. This time nukes are involved. In the 6th seal, we saw how the sun and moon are darkened because of a nuclear bomb exploding in the Middle east.

The first thing we see are the effects of radiation from the bomb evident  as malignant sores on men who have the mark of the beast.

1st bowl malignant sores on those who have the mark of the beast. The result of radiation sores from nuclear warfare that is seen in the 6th seal.

2nd bowl poured out on the sea and the creatures of the sea die because the sea becomes black, like the blood of a dead man, an oil slick. The whole Gulf Sea this time.
3rd bowl fresh water also becomes black. This time oil runs into the freshwater too.
4th bowl poured out on the sun and it becomes seven times hotter.  Probably destroyed the ozone layer.
5th bowl poured out on the throne of the beast. His kingdom became darkened and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.
6th bowl poured out on the Euphrates River and it dried up and the way was made for the kings of the East.

During the 6th bowl, the demons like frogs are sent out to the kings of the earth to gather them together for the war of the great day of God. "Behold I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his garments, lest he walk around naked and men see his shame.

 These verse confirm that this is the the timing of the Ressurection of the dead and snatching up (rapture) of the living in Christ where we will meet the Lord in the air;

1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

If we are watching, and waiting, and faithful to the end, we will know the hour of His coming.

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

1Cr 15:51-52   Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,   In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1Th 4:15   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16   For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17   Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
 

7th Trump
The Third Woe
 

Rev 11:15  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

The Resurrection/Rapture has taken place.
(Also see the Seven Thunders)
Armageddon also takes place in the 7th trump.

Armageddon
The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of the Lord, and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever. The Temple in heaven is opened; and the ark and the covenant appeared in the Temple. Flashes of lightning, peals of thunder, a great earthquake and a great hailstorm.
 

7th Bowl  There were flashes of lightning, peals of thunder and a great earthquake. The great city splits into three sections (Jerusalem?) and the cities of nations fell and Babylon the Great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of wine of his fierce wrath, and every island fled away and the mountains were not found and huge hailstones, one hundred pounds came down from heaven on men and they cursed God. This is the end. God remembers Babylon and strikes it its last blow. It will never be inhabited again as a harlot.  This Roman built city of Jerusalem will be destroyed A new city will be built in the new age and called  the city of the Lord. It will be located about a mile south of where it is now.
Armageddon.

Silence in heaven for about a half hour. Heaven is empty of angels and souls of the dead in Christ because the rapture is taking place on the earth as the seventh trump blew. We will be behind Jesus, as His armies, at the battle of Armegeddon.

(During the Seventh seal, the seven angels are given the trumpets. Remember that I put the seal and trumps together so that you could see what happens as a result of each of these seals being opened. But the opening of the seals are completed ( given power to be put into effect) before the events on earth actually begin happening.

The Seventh seal, trump and bowl of wrath ends with flashes of lightning, peals of thunder, a great earthquake and a great hailstorm.
Now we are at the end of things. When the seals, trumps and bowls all end together at the battle of Armageddon

In this 7th seal, seen in the 7th trump and 7th bowl, is the Marriage of the Lamb, which takes place just before the war of Armageddon;

Rev 19 "and I saw heaven open and behold a white horse and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True and in His righteousness he judges and wages war. And the armies which are in heaven clothed in white were following behind Him. Come and gather for the great supper of God. And he saw the beast and the kings of the earth assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army."
 

And He seized the beast (that came out of the bottomless pit), and with him, the False Prophet, and the two were thrown into the lake alive!

Satan is then locked in the pit for a thousand years.
Form this we can glean that the false prophet is also a dark angel in charge of the second beast of Rev.  Unbelieving humans aren't thrown in the lake of fire until the time of the white throne judgment.

The New thousand year Kingdom of God on earth begins. And we shall be with the Lord forever!
