The False Prophet

Rev. 13: 11-13
And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. :12; And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast whose fatal wound was healed. :13: And he performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down to earth in the presence of men.

This second beast is an empire also, and is called the False Prophet!
Notice this Empire has No past HEADS, which means it has only been an Empire ONE TIME!!!!
How do we know it is called the false prophet??

Rev. 16: 13, 14:
And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast  and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs.

Rev. 19: 20: And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.

One of the biggest mistakes we can make is to apply the word "He" to these beasts.  The three beasts symbolically represent powers on earth at the hand of the supernatural word.
All three of these beasts are powerful empires which are under the rule of Satan and his fallen angels.  They are his empires.   I prefer the word "it" instead of "he" even when speaking of angels.  The mark of the beast is "its" name, not "his" name.
As we have seen the first beast was a symbolic picture of many empires that ruled over Israel from the same place (the Babylonian area).
This second beast came up after the first, so it is comes up later in history.
The beast with the two small horns performs the signs and as you can see, God identifies it as the False Prophet.
This beast is called the False Prophet by God because of its actions concerning Israel. The beast tells them what they must do to make peace in the Middle East,  but doesn't advise them to listen to God, but to listen to it.
*** (And I saw another beast (EMPIRE) coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb (lamb's horns are small. to me this is again speaking of the youth of this empire and to it's supposed innocense), and it spoke as a dragon (Satan).
Like any empire it is made up of many separate states/kingdoms combined to form one power. I believe this one is the United States. We wish to do good but instead we force Israel to trade land for peace.  We give bad advice to Israel to act in ways a true prophet would never do. (speaks as satan) 
Some people believe that the False Prophet is the Antichrist or his side kick, but a beast is an empire and this is a separate empire from the first beast.
Verse 12 said, "And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence".
We supported the first beast of the old Islamic empire (7th head) by bombing Christian countries for it's sake in both Bosnia and Kosovo.


In verse 13 it says, "And he performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down to earth in the presence of men".

John saw this vision around 90 AD and he wrote about what he saw. But it would have been beyond his understanding and imagination to try explain a modern day war, such as the Gulf War in 1990. Making fire come down out of heaven in the sight of men can be a way of describing a modern war. Through our great power to make war "causing fire to come down from heaven" we carry much influence in the world.   And through this ability of making "fire from heaven" we took the side of Islam and bombed Christians causing the world to create the Image of the first beast.

How does this beast speak as satan concerning Israel?

1. The UN Record on Israel and the Arabs: Of the 175 Security Council resolutions passed before 1990, there were 97 directed against Israel.

2. Of the 690 General Assembly resolutions voted on before 1990, 429 were directed against Israel.

3. The UN was silent while 58 Jerusalem Synagogues were destroyed by the Jordanians.

4. The UN was silent while the Jordanians systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives.

5. The UN was silent while the Jordanians enforced an apartheid like policy of preventing Jews from visiting the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.

Since 1990, the UN has continued to be pro-Palestinian and pro Islam, behind the scenes because of the oil involved.

During prayer, I was given the name, King Uzziah, as our example for the USA's acts within this beast. I had never read this story found in 2 Chron. ch. 26, and was quite surprised. King Uzziah was a man who listened to God and obeyed the law and God blessed his kingdom greatly. He organized all that was under his rule. He created an army like no other, with the top weapons known to man. The people thought he was a good king. Then it says something went wrong. "he became powerful". At this point, he believed he was above the law of God and so he entered the temple to burn incense to God. He knew the law said only the priest could burn the incense, but he thought he was above that. The priests followed him in and warned him, but as he stood with incense in hand ready to light it, God struck him with leprosy. His kingdom was given over to his son and Uzziah suffered until his death.

Just so you know...I am an american and love my country...but still I know we did wrong in the wars in Bosnia and Kosovo. I know we do wrong in our advice to Israel.   Our Presidents do what they believe is right, or what they believe has to be done for the sake of peace.  But men's ways are not God's way.
 

I don't believe any human beings are thrown in the lake of fire before the time of the White Throne judgement at the end of the 1000 years.  So when the false prophet is thrown in the lake of fire it is because all empire of the earth have a fallen angel over them and it is that angel that is thrown in. The same with the  beast, who is the angel who comes out of the bottomless pit to go to destruction, it is that angel that is thrown in the lake of fire, not the humans that this angel used.
